About The Collages:
All of my collage pieces are made in a similar way. I have several sets of materials that I use. Hand painted papers, found images and words in books and magazines, and vintage paper ephemera all make up my eclectic collection of materials. Each piece is selected and cut by hand. I then adhere the cut shapes to matboard (acid free, ph neutral and buffered) using acid free nontoxic Nori paste (rice glue). When finished, the collages are sprayed with an acrylic spray sealant meant to protect them from harmful UV rays. The collages are sold unmatted and unframed so that you, the collector, are able to personalize each piece to your own tastes.
All of the above details let you know about the quality and condition of what you are purchasing. If properly cared for and stored, your new art will likely outlast you and me both! Please make sure that all works on paper are matted and framed under glass (example shown at right). The collages should be kept out of direct sunlight and free from any kind of moisture. Paper ultimately is fragile no matter how good the materials.
Purchasing:
I utilize PayPal for payment processing. You do not need an account with Paypal to purchase-the web site will walk you through the process. If there is something you like, please send me an email and let me know which piece you would like to purchase. I will send you the information with the price and what is needed to complete your purchase.
Shipping and tax:
I can ship to the 48 contiguous US states only at this time. Shipping and CA tax costs are calculated once payment for the purchase has been accepted and confirmed through Paypal. You will receive a second invoice for the shipping once I get an estimate from the USPS. Once that payment is received and confirmed I will ship the artwork. I'll provide you with a tracking number from the USPS so you can get an idea of when your new piece will arrive. Easy peasy!
Delivery:
If you happen to be local and we know each other, I am happy to deliver to the wider Sacramento area, outer Bay Area (Livermore or Pleasanton, 680 corridor), parts of the Valley (Modesto) and of course, the tri county area (Calaveras, Amador and Tuolumne). Outside of these parameters, shipping is still available to the 48 contiguous US states (see above).
The Happiness Factor:
I want you, the collector, to be happy with the artwork. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your new art or any aspect of the process please contact me directly. Email is best: [email protected]. I will try to make things right. Returns within 30 days of receipt of payment are possible provided the artwork is returned in satisfactory condition. (Hang on to your original packaging!) Refunds will be issued once the item is received back by me. If I have delivered the artwork to you, return shipping is your responsibility. Let's work together to make the experience as good as possible. If all else fails we can talk by cell phone.
